We may receive limited information from service providers (such as analytics or hosting providers) and from people who refer you to us.
2.How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the information, demos, or support you request;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services;

3.Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely on: your consent; the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request; our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business in a way that does not override your rights; and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 9).
4.Cookies & tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences (such as your language choice), and understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the site functions. Where required, we will request your consent for non-essential cookies.
5.How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers — hosting, email, analytics, and similar vendors who process data on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms;
- Legal & safety — when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of SafeTekLabs, our users, or the public;
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
6.International data transfers
SafeTekLabs operates from Mexico and may use service providers located in other countries, including the United States. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection consistent with applicable law.
7.Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
8.Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures — including access controls, encryption in transit, and the principle of collecting the minimum data necessary — to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9.Your rights & choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Residents of Mexico may exercise their ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition) as described in our Aviso de Privacidad. To exercise any right, contact us using the details in Section 13. You may also opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
10.Children's privacy
Our website and marketing services are intended for organizations and adults, and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. Where our products process personal data about students or other minors, that processing is performed on behalf of, and under the instructions of, the contracting institution (which acts as the data controller) under a separate agreement and product-specific privacy notice — see Section 11.
11.Our products (MySafePlace)
Personal data processed within our products, such as MySafePlace, is governed by the agreement between SafeTekLabs and the institution that deploys the product, together with any product-specific privacy notice or data-processing addendum. This website Privacy Policy covers the safeteklabs.com website and our general business communications; it does not replace those product terms.
12.Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
